Our first science night hosted by State Representative Sherry Gay-Dagnogo was a huge success.  Students, parents, grandparents, and teachers enjoyed learning about the scientific process including making hypothesis, testing theories, illustrating results, and summarizing data.  Students also engaged in two hands-on experiments.  The first involved Mentos and Coke and predicting the chemical reaction that results when the two are combined.  Next students made “Oobleck”, as they learned about the states of matter and the difference between liquids and solids.
