Bridges: Suspension, Truss, Arch and More

The February Family S.T.E.M. Challenge was to build a bridge out of materials not normally considered strong alone, but when engineered right can become a strong structure.  Students used toothpicks, popsicle sticks, straws, Q-Tips and similar materials to create a bridge at least 12 inches long and strong enough to hold 1 large textbook
